To promote Parent Leadership Month in Minnesota, Circle of Parents®, a program of Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota, hosted a press conference on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at the Minnesota State Capital at 12 noon in Room 125. At the press conference,we celebrated the great contributions parents make to our communities by recognizing professionals and parents partnering in Minnesota to build on the strengths of families and prevent child abuse and neglect. 2010 Parent Leadership Awards were presented as well as Representative Jeff Hayden’s recognition and acknowledgement of the great work of Parent Leaders and Professional Partners.
