Circle of Parents Groups
The heart of our organization is a network of parent and children's support groups called Circle of Parents that meet weekly across the state. These community and agency partners are known as Chapters. All groups operate on a shared leadership model with parent participants, and provide non-judgmental support to parents as well as organized programming for children. Select this pink link for the current list of Minnesota Circle of Parents Groups. The parent support groups help parents to improve their parenting skills and strengthen their family relationships. During weekly meetings, parents share the challenges and successes of child rearing. Group meetings provide opportunities for parents to exchange ideas, meet other parents, and talk about their feelings in safe and supportive surroundings.
